Juan Carlos Calderon is the CEO of Escuela de Liderazgo de Alto Impacto (ELAI) in Venezuela and the ELAI Leadership Academy in Florida, where he has resided under asylum status since 2017. He has developed academic training models to help emerging leaders achieve and fulfill their life purpose. Described by his friends as the "catalyst of leadership" he has trained more than 10,000 influential leaders in Venezuela and the world, training them to make a difference wherever they are. Through The Global Leadership Summit, he was inspired to do something about leadership in Venezuela during the worst moment of social and political crisis in his country, at which point he founded his organization.
