Lesson 3: In this GrowthTrack session, you will learn how to find “your tribe”.
As you seek to live a life with no regrets, you need to find a tribe of people who will build into your life and help you achieve your dreams. This session will focus on helping you find your tribe. Watch these short videos and then move to the questions below.
When going out to find your tribe, Erwin McManus explains the paradoxical methods that will serve you best.
Erwin McManus describes the ways you can know that you’ve found your tribe.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
– Erwin McManus, The Last Arrow
1. Reflecting on what Erwin just said about finding your tribe, who comes to mind?
2. Which qualities do they have that are important to you?
3. Finding your tribe is about being of one heart and mind. Erwin says, “It’s essential—above everything else you pursue in life, whatever else you may desire or long for—to make sure that nothing in your life has a greater value than finding your tribe. You need to find people, because as long as you walk alone, you will never know your strength. Your greatest strength is not when you can prove that you don’t need anyone; your greatest strength is when you no longer have to prove that you can do it alone.” (The Last Arrow)
What are your next steps to connect with the people who came to mind and take these relationships to the next level?

I find it difficult to connect with people I want to go deeper with. I am in a new church and have lost some long term relationships.
